MISSION
The mission of the Monica Boyd Literacy Foundation is to develop and improve basic reading skills for elementary and/or middle school students who are reading below grade level.

VISION
The Foundation is committed to giving elementary and/or middle school students a passion for learning that will allow them to extend their education before entering high school.

GOALS
1) Identify students reading significantly below grade level (50% special education students).
2) Identify additional students by referral, school assessments, and/or parental observation.
3) Source of information/support for parents that have children in special education programs.
4) Provide funding for identified students to receive assistance from Sylvan Learning Centers.
